Beef Brocolli


Marinate the ff:

  • 1 kg. beef
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 400 grs. brocolli
  • 150 to 250grms. asparagus
  • 3 tsp. chopped or smashed ginger
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 pcs good size garlic
  • 2 pcs good size tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. corn starch
  • 1 cup cold water

Cooking Method:

  1. Heat the pan with 2 tbsp. cooking oil; then fry the marinated beef to brown it. Do by batch and do not overcrowd the space of the pan;  set aside the fried beef to a cooking pot you are using for cooking. Once all finished frying, add 2 cups of water to the pot and turn the stove high till its boiling.
  2. Once boil, slow the heat to the lowest level and cook the beef till tender. Once the beef tender, fry the tomatoes to brown it,then add to the beef pot;
  3. Fry the  broccoli, and with asparagus (optional for about 3 minutes) from the pan you used for frying the beef previously, then add to the tender beef pot;
  4. add about 1 to 1 1/2 tsp salt or according to taste,
  5.  Stir the corn starch to the 1 cup water, then add slowly to the pot, until it forms into gravy. Then its ready to served with steamed rice.  Enjoy
