Once you arrived Victoria Coach Station, outside the arrival area, there are taxi falling in line. You have to approach to the one who is first in the line, or ask if you are not sure, People there will get you in the taxi anyway, so easy no worries.
Tell the taxi driver you want to go to the Philippine embassy, telling him the address. In our experience, there are 5 of us, my kids and husband, and we took a taxi. From Victoria to Suffolk (the location of the embassy), it cost us £8.70, but eventually cost us £10 as I did not asked the change back, I was just happy I get there on time. It takes us really few minutes, roughly about 10 minutes. We arrive at the Philippine Embassy at exactly 6.20 am in London time.
It was spring time, and the temperature is roughly 6 degrees, still cold to me, but have to be there as early as I can, I want to be there, before many people in Que…

If passport being renewed is the old brown passport or machine readable passport (MRP), submit NSO authenticated Birth Certificate and other supporting documents with complete middle name and place of birth.
Former Filipinos who have re-acquired Philippine citizenship must bring copies of their Oath of Allegiance.
Steps :
Upon arriving at the Embassy office, secure a priority number.
Have all your documents ready and wait for your number to be called.
Once called, you will be asked to submit all necessary documents to the processing counter and the person in charge will issue a form to indicate how much you need to pay.
Wait for your name to be called at the cashier counter and pay the necessary fee.
Walk upstairs to the Biometrics Office (at the 2nd level) where scans of your fingerprints will be taken along with a photograph of yourself. (This photo is for the passport I guess, kaseh’, once of my co Filipina said, that they did not ask for the 2 x 2 passport photos. Note, however, this is only for PE London office, other Philippine Embassy maybe different case. Please check though.
Once your biometrics and photo have been taken, the person in charge will inform you as to when you can claim your passport which is around 2-3 months.
For some, the whole process did not take long and in fact was smooth and easy – average of 30 minutes per person to finish the entire transaction. It probably helped that we came early as not so many people were on queue. The rest of your time, maybe just used to sight seeing London view. 🙂

Hi! How long did it take to get your new passport? Thank you!
I am not sure if there is an option to expedite processing your passport. As far as I am aware, there is none. Maybe in this regard, you should contact the embassy directly to find out what your options are.
Do I have to book an appointment for my passport renewal.
Just wondering what happened with the visa stamped on your old passport. Was it transferred to the new one or did you have to request for a card version of the visa?
Yes you may and I personally think it is a good idea to have it renewed by now (at least 6 months before it expires) so you will have enough time to wait for the new passport to come. It is always handy to have a valid passport all the time.
They gave the old passport back to me as it was still valid at the time of renewal, and the embassy officer told me that I can still use the old passport until I receive my new one.
Personally I would suggest that you have it renewed as early as now while you still have the time to wait and as long as you have no pending travel plans in the next 2 to 3months. Anyhow, they will give you your old passport back and you can still use it (as it is still valid) while you wait for the new one to come.
Hi,
I am quite tight on my schedule, would it be possible to do my passport renewal on a Saturday? Would you be able to if there’s any branches that I could go to do it?
I read your post before I went in to renew my passport on the 1st of February 2016,exactly 2 days ago.The process was very smooth like you said & the staff were kind & friendly. If you want your passport posted to you,I would suggest that you will buy a self-addressed,pre-paid special delivery envelope as (indicated on how to claim passport) before you go to the Embassy to save you from another 20 mins walk ( in my pace), to & fro the nearby post office.
I’m glad everything went smoothly for you! And thank you for the input which will surely help those who would want their new pssports posted to them instead of having to collect them from the embassy(as I did).
I arrived here in UK July 20,1991,I signed off my ship which is own by Mobil shipping Co.Ltd London, and got married a week later with my girlfriend, since then I haven’t been back to our country, and I lost my passport which my stamp is there for indefinite leave in UK. My question is how could I apply for new passport? My only proof being a Filipino is my birth certificate and a couple of my seamans book
No, you do not need to schedule an appointment, it is on a first come, first served basis. Kindly check with the recent updates with the embassy as this article was written a year ago already.

As far as I know, there is no rush option to renew the passport at PE London. Please check with the embassy as I am not 100% sure of this.
